Whether it's a day in or if you've been invited to someone's home, here are some fun Mini Pizzas to bake in any kitchen. Here's what you'll need...

  • Commercial Grade Natural Pure Aluminum Cookie Sheet Extra Thick
  • 2-1 Scraper & Spatula 10"
  • Brush and Spatula Set
  • 4pcs Measuring Cups with Scraper
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Carbon Steel Rolling Pin
  • Whisk (Silicone or Stainless Steel)

For the pizza dough, you will need:

  • 1 1/4 oz. yeast
  • 1 1/3 cups warm water
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • Chopped herbs; basil, oregano or rosemary (optional)

Instructions for pizza dough:

1. In a small bowl, stir together yeast and warm water and set aside for 5 minutes.
2. In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, mix together the flour, salt, sugar, and olive oil. Optionally, add dried herbs.
3. Stir in the yeast water and knead with the dough hook or by hand on a well-floured surface for about 5 minutes. If using the stand mixer, remove the dough from the bowl and shape into a large ball by hand.
4. Lightly oil two bowls with olive oil and divide the dough into two pieces, rolling each into a ball. Place each ball into the oiled bowls, seam side down, and coat the tops with a little olive oil. Top each bowl with plastic wrap or a clean, dry towel and place the dough in a warm place (such as an oven preheated to 250 degrees F and then turned off). Let the dough rise for 2 hours.
5. Once the dough has risen, it can be used immediately by turning it out onto a floured surface and shaping it. Alternatively, it can be wrapped in plastic wrap, then a plastic bag, and frozen or refrigerated for later use.

For the mini pizzas, you will need:

  • Pizza dough
  • Pizza sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your choice of meat toppings, such as pepperoni, sausage, or ham (for meat eaters)
  • Your choice of vegetable toppings, such as mushrooms, onions, peppers, or olives (for vegetarians)
  • Fresh basil, chopped (optional)
Instructions for Mini Pizzas:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick aluminum foil.
3. On a well-floured surface, press the pizza dough firmly with your fingers to shape and stretch gently into a 12” x 8” rectangle.
4. Using a round cutter, cut the dough into 18-20 rounds and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
5. Top each round with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and your desired toppings, such as pepperoni or sausage for meat eaters or mushrooms and onions for vegetarians.
6. Sprinkle with fresh basil (optional).
7. Bake the mini pizzas for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Making pizza dough at home is a great way to involve your kids in the cooking process and teach them valuable skills. You can also customize the toppings to suit different dietary preferences. For meat eaters, pepperoni, sausage, or ham are great options, while vegetarians can enjoy toppings like mushrooms, onions, peppers, or olives. Adding fresh herbs like basil can also add a delicious twist to the flavors.

By following these simple steps, you can create delicious Mini Pizzas that are perfect for a fun family activity or a quick and easy dinner. So grab your ingredients, get your kids involved, and start making some delicious homemade pizza!
