Equipments:
  • Cookie Sheet 13" x 19" (OR Aluminized Steel Cookie Sheet, Commercial Grade Pure Aluminum Cookie Sheet, Cookie Sheet 13", 15", 17")
  • 2-1 Scraper & Spatula 10"
  • Brush and Spatula Set
  • 4pcs Measuring Cups with Scraper
  • Set of 3 Scalloped Cookie Cutters
  • Reusable Piping Bag and Tips
  • Whisk (Silicone or Stainless Steel)
  • Carbon Steel Rolling Pin 19"
  • Set of 3 Cooling Rack

Ingredients:

  • Premade cut-out sugar cookie dough
  • Frosting
  • Food coloring (Red, Orange, and Yellow)
  • 3 couplers
  • Peanut butter or cocoa candy melts
  • Mini candy eyes

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing the premade sugar cookie dough. Once prepared, chill the dough and then roll it out. Using the cookie cutter, cut out circles from the dough and bake following recipe directions (according to the premade box time). Allow the cookies to cool completely.

  2. Next, make your choice of bakery frosting or your preferred buttercream frosting. Divide the frosting into portions and tint them red, orange, and yellow. Prepare decorating bags with different tips, and fill each bag with a different colored frosting. Seal the bags tightly.

  3. To decorate each cookie, start from the edge by piping a small dot of red frosting and pulling it towards the center to create a "teardrop" shape. Continue piping teardrops around the edge of the cookie, excluding the bottom part of the circle. Overlapping slightly, begin to pipe a second set of "teardrops" in a circular pattern just inside the outer edge using the orange frosting. Finally, pipe teardrops with the yellow frosting in the center of the cookie.

  4. Place a candy melt at the bottom of each cookie. For the turkey face, pipe two tiny dots using any frosting color (or use a toothpick) and attach candy eyes. Use the yellow frosting to pipe the beak and the red frosting to pipe the wattle. Allow the frosting to set. If desired, you can refrigerate the cookies to help the frosting firm up more.

Now, you have a beautifully decorated batch of cookies that resemble turkeys. Enjoy these delightful treats for any Thanksgiving or autumn-themed occasion!
